Gaia Volunteer Fire and Civil Protection

Following a scoping visit, Staffordshire Emergency Services Humanitarian Aid Association (SESHAA) is delivering a 4×4 vehicle and RTC extrication equipment to the Gaia Volunteer Fire and Civil Protection in Greece.
A 4×4 has been identified as the only vehicle type of use for the terrain involved and in the following circumstances: incidents involving flooding, incidents located off the high way such as mountain and forest fires, and incidents where an excessive snow fall could compromise Gaia response.
SESHAA instructors will provide a three day course with delivery of the vehicle and RTC equipment including familiarization and off-road training. The vehicle forms part of a convoy of personnel and equipment taken by road from Staffordshire to Greece.
