FIRE AID is pleased to announce that membership has been awarded to S.A.R.A.I.D – a UK charity dedicated to trying to save the lives of innocent victims of disaster.

The Search and Rescue charity brings a wealth of expertise to the FIRE AID family, having deployed expert teams globally since 2004: to Sri Lanka (2004 tsunami), Pakistan (2005 earthquake), Mexico (2007 flooding), Haiti (2010 earthquake), and Nepal (2015 earthquake) to name a few.

S.A.R.A.I.D teams can move swiftly to the scene of a disaster and provide a comprehensive and effective service to those in need. It is staffed entirely by volunteers and funded solely by public donations. Their volunteers are on call 365 days a year, always ready to provide trained Search and Rescue personnel, free of charge to any country in need of assistance.  S.A.R.A.I.D members are drawn from all walks of life bringing with them many differing skills from their varied professions and learn many more skills during our training sessions and exercises.
