It is staffed entirely by volunteers and funded solely by public donations. Their volunteers are on call 365 days a year, always ready to provide trained Search and Rescue personnel, free of charge to any country in need of assistance. S.A.R.A.I.D members are drawn from all walks of life bringing with them many differing skills from their varied professions and learn many more skills during our training sessions and exercises.
