FIRE AID ANNOUNCES MAJOR STRUCTURAL CHANGES TO STRENGTHEN GLOBAL IMPACT
FIRE AID is pleased to announce a series of significant structural changes that mark an exciting new chapter in the organisation’s growth and long-term sustainability. Over the past three months, the charity has begun transitioning to an employment-based model and has recruited its first full-time member of staff.
Claire Hoyland, formerly Vice Chair of FIRE AID, has been appointed as Head of Partnerships and Development, becoming the organisation’s first full-time employee. Claire brings years of experience in international development and has played a critical role in shaping FIRE AID's growth, partnerships and global programmes over the last 8 years.
In addition, FIRE AID has strengthened its Board of Trustees with the appointment of two new trustees:
Elodie Le Moigne – bringing extensive expertise across the NGO, security, and government sectors.
Kirsten Glen-Holmes – offering a strong background in risk management and policy development.
At the same time, Heather Jones, previously a trustee, has stepped into the role of Vice Chair, succeeding Claire.
These developments mark an important milestone in FIRE AID’s evolution, enhancing the organisation’s capacity to deliver high-impact, sustainable support to fire and rescue services around the world.
